I am still having a great laugh in retrospect about all those "old europe" comments, as I see the US crash harder and deeper every day. It'll hurt but I think another 1929 crash in the US has become essential for world peace.

Agreed, the US needs to be put in its place. An end to meddling in foreign countries and occupations. Hopefully with the rise of the BRIC countries we will see a balancing of world power and an avenue for global governance.
