The Technocalypse is "the convergence of technology and the apocalyptic imagination; it is cyberspace, nanotechnology, cryonics, futurism, the eschaton encoded in the now malleable protein chains of DNA, as well as the eventual transcendence of death." [Michael Grosso, PhD (ca. 1995)]

Some alarming visuals, but not much Science or anything else.
It is important to be aware of the potential dangers of any change, including technological change. However, I personally don't consider it wise to be scared of change just for the sake of it being different.
I get the feeling that the video has a "look & feel" that suggests the author's idea of the future of humanity as inhuman, rather than transhuman.
Some of the most popular ideas consider the following:
1.) We could be superceeded by intelligent or more adept machines. Becoming extinct or not central in world power.
2.) We could blow each other to obvlion with technology.
3.) We could find ways not to blow each other to oblivion and not to allow Intelligent Machines to superceed us, but rather become the future ourselves.
A common held misconception is that the future is something that happens to us, rather than something we create.
