Quietly in a number of laboratories, an astounding technology is developing that directly connects the human brain to a computer. It's like a sudden leap in human evolution - a leap that could one day help paralyzed people to walk again and amputees to move bionic limbs.

remarkable and moving documentary. I wonder if Scott can navigate through SecondLife with his scullcap interface.

Thanks for sharing this! I'm very excited about the potential of BMI technology. I'd even mop the floor at a facility working on brain machine interface if they'd teach me in return, just to be a part of this exciting, emerging field of neurotechnology. ; )
I'll get there and help it progress further. You'll see =)

Wonderful! Just give humanity a couple of decades and we'll have post-humans scurrying all over the place! (And hurrey to all disabled people! They just have to keep hanging in there a little while longer and they'll soon be as good as new.)
