There are rumours that Chris Hughes just used the FLARToolkit to create his app. If this is true, then it means he did not credit the open-source project, nor the community, nor the Japanese who actually invented the technology. Instead, he mentions "I wrote a bunch of software" and goes on to show the magic behind Augmented reality running on flash and a browser.

The technology has been around for some time (though the video might be old), and it is very cool. I really hope either he built it all himself or that the lack of credit is due to bad editing, otherwise...an entire community will likely feel betrayed by this guy.
